Mechanism of Action
Selinexor (Xpovio) is an oral first-in-class selective inhibitor of nuclear export (SINE) that selectively binds and inhibits XPO1 (CRM1), trapping tumor suppressor proteins in the nucleus to restore their anticancer function and induce apoptosis in multiple myeloma and DLBCL cells.
